It's a draw! England v USA: (1-1), but I'll take it. That was the luckiest damn slide (or roll) into a goal I have ever seen (poor Green). Bravo Dempsey! It was a dumb way to score against the mighty England, but I don't care. Good on ya Yanks!!

Rain Rain Go Away

I think I brought the rain with me. Its not any old rain either, its torrential, like tropical torrential! Anyway, I shouldn't complain. The Farmer's Almanac predicts that for the Maritimes it should be the hottest, driest summer on record. We'll see about that. I mean in a way I don't mind it, I did live with such grey torture for 14 years in Seattle, but my God, can't I EVER escape it. Come to think of it, my Mom, sister and I even had this happen during the summer in Greece of all things! A freak storm of rain and howling winds blew in to what was supposed to be a hot and dry time of year. So, maybe it is me. I am like a black hole sucking all the bad weather my way. Wah ... sucks.
