Frenchie II has lived all over the Maritimes. A few years in Albert County, a childhood in Shediac, and of course, ugly Saint John. He also spent a few years on Prince Edward Island going to high school. Most of his immediate family still lives there. It's hard for me to wrap my mind around that, but he insists that it is a place like no other. Not terribly exciting, it is certainly beautiful, and most improtantly, has stunning white sandy beaches. So, late in September, we went over on one of the last hot days, just prior to Hurricane Irene.
